In the first video we learn about how Google analyzes everything you do on the internet. Google has a feature where they analyzes your site preferences, your searched topics, and other things you use Google for to get by in our daily lives. They use a filter system where, when you search something they give you recommendations on what you may be interested in and it will make you choose something that is the most appealing to you.The problem people are having because of this is that you are not being able to broaden your mind. Even though this could help you search things you usually do faster too much information overload of one thing is not beneficial. The speaker says "too much junk food isn't good for you" he means that too much of one topic won't let you think outside of the box and you wont be as intellectual as you want to be. Article 2 spoke about the similar concept of how Google can help you find things or choose things your mind thinks of easily. Scientist are trying to use your brain to be able to control the computer. I think this is beneficial to us because it can help people that are mute have a voice. They said in the article that a patient said that becoming a computer made him feel "more human". This can impact many people in the world who are having problems overcome it by being able to use your mind to its fullest potential. This article spoke about how having like minded peers is not always a big deal. We can always learn from others around you and you can always share our different ideas and opinions. In order for us to function properly we have to be open minded and be able to have diverse conversations. By conversing with people who only think like you and support your opinions we don't really improve our daily lives. In article 3, I learned that "having a smaller number of high-bandwidth relationships can be good for you".
